Aberaeron Tourist Information
Aberaeron is a charming coastal town set in Cardigan Bay midway between the town's of Aberystwyth and Cardigan, it's a very popular holiday seaside resort which has many beautiful Regency style pastel shaded houses combined with elegant architecture.

Aberaeron has a fine selection of independent shops to browse around, along with a good selection of eateries serving delicious local produce. If you're lucky enough to be in the town in July you will see visitor numbers swell as they all flock to the quayside for the 'Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival', this annual foodie event is an excellent opportunity to sample local produce, local seafood, and fish which is prepared by local and celebrity chefs.

The town is blessed with two popular pebble beaches, Aberaeron South Beach and Aberaeron North Beach, both revealing sand further down at low tide.

The River Aeron flows through the town making its way out into Cardigan Bay, where along its length anglers may enjoy some excellent fishing, particularly for sewin. A gentle riverside walk downstream will bring you to Llanerchaeron, a National Trust owned 18th-century mansion set in the picturesque wooded Aeron Valley. Today this remarkable estate has a working farm with a range of livestock, beautiful walled kitchen gardens, an ornamental lake and parkland for visitors to enjoy. Visitors may also view inside the house and the service courtyard which depicts the every day upstairs, downstairs life of servants and their wealthy homeowners.
