Amlwch Tourist Information
Amlwch is the most Northerly town in Wales

Amlwch is a town which lies on the North East coast of Anglesey and is infact the most Northerly town in Wales, it's located a couple of miles from the village of Llaneilian and less than six miles from Cemaes Bay.

There are a number of shops dotted around the town along with a selection of pubs and places to eat, Amlwch also holds a local market every Friday.

Amlwch - Once the world's leading exporter of copper
Amlwch Port is home to The Copper Kingdom Centre, located on the quayside, the heritage centre tells of how copper was mined from 'Parys Mountain' (once the largest copper mine in the world), and then transported to Amlwch Port to be processed then shipped around the world. The heritage centre houses a number of interactive displays to show the whole mining, processing and shipping procedure.

Just outside Amlwch lies Bull Bay Golf Club, a splendid 18-hole championship links course that boasts spectacular views of Anglesey, the Irish Sea and across to the mountains of Snowdonia.
