Angle Tourist Information

Angle is a delightful little village that is located at the mouth of the busy Milford Haven Waterway on the Castlemartin Peninsula, all neatly packaged within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Angle has a small shop and two pubs, both of which serve excellent food and fine ales. The town of Pembroke Dock is about twelve miles away, and can cater for most shopping requirements.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path meanders around this narrow peninsula, here walkers are treated to some lovely views, particularly across to 'Thorne Island'. A walk around the coast path would not be complete without calling in at Chapel Bay Fort & Museum, a very interesting military fortress and museum.

Being a coastal destination means there are plenty of water-based activities on offer including sailing, surfing and fishing. But the piece de resistance has to be West Angle Bay, a smashing little tucked away cove, where low tide reveals a lovely sandy beach. Its sheltered position makes it ideal for a swim or just to lounge around on the beach, and the rocks on the Northern side hide a cut through to a hidden beach!
