Borth Tourist Information
Borth is a coastal village spread along the sea front, it's situated between the towns of Tywyn in Gwynedd to the North, and Aberystwyth to the South.

Ideally located on the sweep of Cardigan Bay, the coastal village of Borth has a few shops dotted along the high street and a number of pubs and eateries. For main food and other shopping requirements, you're best to visit Aberystwyth which only a fifteen-minute drive down the road.

Borth Beach offers a wonderful three-mile expanse of shallow gradient golden sand, where its shallow waters make it a popular beach for families with youngsters, and just as popular with surfers and kite surfers. During the summer season beachgoers have the added reassurance of RNLI lifeguards in attendance.

Behind the high street and the railway line is Borth Animalarium, open all year round, it's a rapidly expanding zoo with a whole host of animals, reptiles and birds. In addition to the animals, the zoo has two outdoor play areas, an indoor ball pool and a cafe. The zoo also has big cat, crocodile and caiman feeding sessions.

Avid golfers will find Borth & Ynyslas Golf Club has a very well maintained 18-hole links course, played out on one of (if not the) oldest golf courses in Wales.

Starting from the village, the Borth to Aberystwyth coastal walk offers the opportunity to wander along six and a half miles of picturesque Ceredigion coastline, whilst taking in the outstanding panoramic views of Cardigan Bay.
