A short drive from Cynghordy is the sprawling Brecon Beacons National Park, home to a superb array of walking, mountain biking and horse riding trails. In addition, the various lakes, rivers and canals in the Brecon Beacons are perfect for a host of water-based activities, for the more adventurous, there's also rock climbing, caving and abseiling.
