Dwyran Tourist Information
Dwyran is a village which can be found in the Southwestern corner of Anglesey close to the Menai Straits, two miles North lies the village of Llangaffo and just over two miles to the West is the village of Newborough.

A few miles from the village is Anglesey Sea Zoo, it's home to over 150 native marine species. This conservation zoo boasts the largest aquarium in Wales along with an amazing shark pool and a kelp forest, there are also talks and feeding sessions carried out by the zoo biologists. Outside the youngsters will find a bouncy castle, crazy golf and a playground.

Directly opposite the zoo is Anglesey Sea Salt Company (Halen Môn), an award-winning Saltcote and visitor centre. Here you're taken on a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the salt production process whilst discovering the history of salt, the fascinating tour ends with a tasting session.

Just over two miles from the village is Foel Farm Park. Set on a working farm, this great family visitor attraction offers the opportunity to see and feed various farm animals and to tour the farm on a tractor and trailer ride, there are pony rides for the children as well as quad bike and mini-trailer rides.

Not too far away from the village of Dwyran are the popular sands of Newborough Beach (Llanddwyn Bay Beach), here beachgoers will find a clean, three and a half mile long open beach to enjoy a fun-filled day of beaches games, swimming, walking or just lazing around. Adjacent to the beach is the pine forest and dunes of 'Newborough Forest', it's one of the largest publically accessible forests in Wales, here you'll find lots of beautiful walking and biking trails, there's also a clear path straight through the forest that leads directly to the beach.
