Dyserth Tourist Information

Dyserth is a rural inland village that lies at the foot of Moel Hiraddug (which has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), the village is positioned about five miles South of the seaside town of Rhyl, and with the main A55 Expressway about six miles away it makes Dyserth easy to get to by road.


Dyserth has a very popular landmark, that being its spectacular waterfall which cascades seventy feet from the River Ffyddion. There is a pub/restaurant by the waterfall which serves tasty home-made food, as well as a cafe which is open seasonally.

There are a number of excellent walks in the area including the Marian Mills walk (about 2 miles), Hottia walk (about 2.5 miles) and the circuit of Moel Hiraddug (about 3.5 miles).

To the West of Dyserth in the nearby town of Rhuddlan is 'Rhuddlan Golf Club', which offers golfers a challenging 18-hole parkland course set in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd.
