Llanfaethlu a small village located on the West side of Anglesey, eleven miles to the North East lies the town of Amlwch and roughly six miles away to the South West lies the village of Valley.

Fairly close to the village is Porth Trwyn Beach, it's a rather quiet beach where the revealed sand at low tide makes an ideal playground for the kids, if you're planning a visit you should take snacks and drinks with you as there are no shops close at hand.

A few miles outside the village is Swtan Heritage Museum, Swtan offers an interesting insight as to what life was like in rural Wales back in 1900, the site has a wonderful example of a 17th-century Welsh cottage with a thatched roof and a well-stocked vegetable plot.
