The village of Brechfa is eight miles away from Llanllwni to the South, whilst the Ceredigion market town of Llandysul is only six miles away to the West.

Llanllwni has a village shop and post office along with a welcoming pub which serves delicious homemade food.

The village of Llanllwni, which is set in beautiful, unspoilt countryside is home to Norwood Gardens. Covering an area of roughly three acres Norwood comprises of a number of themed gardens, each with their own unique design and varying arrays of plants to behold.

The nearby Llanllwni Mountain is a wild open common that is owned by the Crown Estates and managed by graziers. Located on the edge of the Cambrian Mountain range, the Llanllwni Mountain provides open access for walking and cycling, Blanca Trekking provides horse riding across this unspoilt and tranquil landscape.
