Manorbier Tourist Information
Manorbier is a charming village set in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, located about six miles away from Tenby and roughly the same distance from Pembroke.

Facilities in the village include a shop and tea room and a welcoming pub that serves food, here Manorbier's noticeable lack of commercialism only adds to the charm of this beautiful village.

Manorbier Beach is one of those little gems of a beach you can only hope to stumble upon, it's truly unspoilt and totally in keeping with the village as it's completely uncommercialised. The sandy, dune backed beach is nestled between cliffs on either side with a lovely little stream trickling down the Northern end. Manorbier Beach is great for relaxing on, there are also rock pools to explore at low tide, it's also very popular with the surfing fraternity.

Perched on a hill with commanding views of Manorbier Beach is the village's other popular attraction, Manorbier Castle. It's a truly atmospheric Norman castle that's still in remarkable condition and comes complete with immaculately kept gardens and well-preserved rooms. Even the kids will love this castle as they make their way up and down the battlements and the towers, there are also life-sized figures dotted around which adds to the castles atmosphere.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path skirts its way around the village, as it connects with other towns and villages along its 186-mile-long route. A walk Eastwards from the village along the coast path for just under three miles takes walkers to Skrinkle Haven & Church Doors, which are two lovely small sandy coves. Heading from the cliff top down to these two sandy beaches is certainly not for the faint-hearted, as you would have to negotiate your way down 140 steps. Skrinkle Haven and Church Doors are separated by a thin headland, at low tide, it is possible to walk around the headland from one beach to the other. Church Doors Beach is particularly attractive, it has two high-arched caves set in the sandstone cliffs, these are thought to resemble the doors of a church.
