Mynytho Tourist Information
Mynytho is a small fairly scattered village which lies near the Southern coast on the Llŷn Peninsula, although set back behind Llanbedrog and Abersoch the village still enjoys views of the coast.

Mynytho has a little shop/post office.

Mynytho is ideally placed for visiting the beaches on the peninsula's South coast, the National Trust's Llanbedrog Beach is nice and close, this beach is blessed with a mile-long stretch of sand and it's a safe bathing location. The South-westerly facing Porth Neigwl Beach (Hell's Mouth) is only a few miles away, it's a really exposed beach which provides great surfing conditions and it's visited by thousands of surfers each year. Unfortunately, due to strong undertows and cross-currents, swimming is considered to be dangerous at Porth Neigwl Beach, but it's good news for dog owners as it's a year-round dog-friendly beach.
