Pentraeth Tourist Information
Pentraeth is a village located on the Eastern side of Anglesey near beautiful Red Wharf Bay, from the village and heading South, it's just under five and a half miles to the famous village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, whilst twelve miles to the North lies the town of Amlwch.

The village and local area offer a number of places to get something to eat including a couple of pubs that serve food.

To the West of Pentraeth is an interesting family-owned museum called Stone Science which houses dioramas that depict the evolving ages of the earth. There are also thousands of fossils, minerals, crystals and arrowheads for visitors to look at.

Pentraeth lies close to Red Wharf Bay which is renowned for its beach (Red Wharf Bay Beach), when visited at low tide beachgoers will find a massive, and we do mean MASSIVE stretch of sand, up to ten square miles of sand in fact.
