Borth Beach in Ceredigion

This is a long beach of sand and shingle, with plenty more sand revealed at low tide. Low tide also reveals something extra special - A submerged forest that contains the remains of numerous prostrate trees.

This beach has a particularly shallow gradient, this means the waters here are popular for a whole host of water sports like surfing, sailing, canoeing, fishing and water skiing.
