Barafundle Bay Beach in Pembrokeshire

A truly outstanding beach where crystal clear waters lap onto the golden sands nestled neatly in a beautiful bay, within the National Trust's Stackpole estate.

Its sheltered position makes it ideal for chilling out on the beach, or for an enjoyable swim.

Whether you see it as a plus or minus, this beach is in an isolated location with no facilities and no parking. So it means a good half mile walk from Barafundle bay to Stackpole Quay.

Enjoyed a lovely walk along this beach yesterday, its certainly in my top 3 beaches in Pembrokeshire. I would say its not really suitable for those who are less mobile or for anybody with pushchairs due to its accessibility from the NT car park.
