Caerfai Bay Beach in Pembrokeshire

This rocky cove is flanked by towering cliffs, which is accessed by a steep winding path. But don't let this put you off! it's well worth a visit, more so at low tide.

When the tide is in the sand is covered for the most part, but as the tide goes out it leaves behind plenty of sand.

This sheltered bay has some interesting coloured rocks and lots of rockpools to explore.

Swimming here is fairly safe, providing you remain within the bay, as the waters are known for their strong currents.

Although we have indicated that there is parking nearby, it is in fact at the top of the cliff.
