Albion Sands Beach in Pembrokeshire

This is a small secluded sandy beach, located just along from its neighbouring, larger and more well-known beach, Marloes Sands.

It is similar to Marloes Sands, in that it's a sandy beach with an abundance of wildlife, as well as interesting geology - Just on a smaller scale.

There are two ways to gain access to Albion Sands beach, either from walking around the shore from Marloes beach at low tide or by scrambling over the rocks. So if you have walked around you will certainly need to keep an eye on the incoming tide, otherwise, you WILL be clambering over those rocks to leave.

Interestingly, the beach is named after a paddle steamer called the 'Albion' which ran aground here in 1837. Even today, parts of the wreck can still be seen protruding from the sand at low tide.
