Traeth Llyfn Beach in Pembrokeshire

This is certainly a remote beach with no facilities and no nearby parking, therefore, you could find you're the only person on the beach.

The beach itself is mostly sand with some pebbles scattered around, and there are plenty of rock pools for your little intrepid explorer.

The beach is backed by towering cliffing, with rather daunting steep steps as the only entrance and exit from the beach, so you need to keep an eye on the incoming tide.

Although dogs are allowed on the beach you may need to carry your furry friend down the steps, as they're metal with open treads.
