Pendine Sands Beach in Carmarthenshire

One of Wales’ longest sandy beaches...

A fantastic 7-mile long stretch of flat sandiness owned by the Ministry of Defence (therefore sometimes sections are closed off to the public), at low tide the beach is almost half a mile wide, making an ideal family destination with plenty of room for everybody.

It should be noted that cars are allowed to drive onto the beach.
