Whiteford Sands Beach in Swansea (Gower)

If you are looking for a beach with a wild remote feel to it, this is it. Whiteford Sands offers a lovely curve of delightful sandiness, which is a perfect, quiet location for sunbathing.

Due to its location and the fact is it dangerous to swim here, it is a very quiet beach, with only a handful of visitors on it at any one time.

Just behind the dunes lies 'Whiteford Burrows' owned by the National Trust, which is a fantastic nature reserve and well worth visiting to see the varying habitats.
