Visitors can also enjoy the thrills and spills of American style harness racing from April to September, Tir Prince is renowned for having the largest outdoor market and car boot sale in North Wales with over 400 stalls.


Exploring beyond Towyn
Although Towyn is bursting at the seams with great things to see and do you may wish to explore further afield, after all, North Wales has so much to offer (maybe that's why it was voted as the 4th best travel destination in the world by Lonely Planet in 2017). Heading West out of Towyn lies the seaside resort of Colwyn Bay, home to a lovely sandy beach, it's also home to the Welsh Mountain Zoo where visitors will get the chance to see many rare and endangered species from around the world. Continuing past Colwyn Bay is the historic town of Conwy, a beautiful medieval town which is dominated by its foreboding medieval castle (real must-visit), whilst in the town you should head down to the quayside to check out 'The Smallest House in Great Britain' at a roomy 72 inches wide by 122 inches high.

Travelling a few miles East out of Towyn and you're in the popular seaside towns of Rhyl and Prestatyn, which between them offer extensive safe, clean sandy beaches, plenty of places to eat, lots of shops, amusement arcades and a whole host of water-based activities. Rhyl is also home to Britain’s oldest miniature railway.
