Dale Tourist Information
An unspoilt little beauty

Dale is a beautiful small coastal village, perfectly positioned on the Dale Peninsula, within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Tucked away in a sheltered bay, this unspoilt village has a post office and a pub that serves real Welsh ales as well as locally caught seafood amongst other dishes.

Dale Beach is made up of a mixture of sand and pebbles and faces East towards the Milford Haven Waterway, making it an extremely popular destination for a variety of watersports including windsurfing and sailing. West Wales Watersports are based in Dale, they offer a variety of watersports activities and tuition. Broadside Boat Charter also operate from Dale and take their passengers out on fishing, diving and boat trips around the local coastline.

Westdale Bay Beach is a marvellous sandy beach that lies on the opposite side of the peninsula to Dale Beach, here kids will find a number of rock pools worth investigating at low tide, whilst the solid swells and North-easterly winds produced here are only really suited to more experienced surfers. Westdale Beach is surrounded by towering cliffs and the only means of access down is by very steep steps.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path offers an enjoyable six-mile stroll around the Dale Peninsula. This circular walk can be done in a few hours, although most people find it practically impossible not to stop and admire the outstanding views on offer.
