Llandovery Tourist Information
Llandovery is a lovely traditional Welsh Market Town located in the beautiful Towy Valley on the Western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, it's perfectly positioned between the town's of Llandeilo and Builth Wells.

Llandovery has a small mix of one-off independent shops that sell unique local crafts and unusual gifts, local food produce, shoes and accessories, as well as other products. After wandering around the shops and the town, you can refresh yourself in one of the various eating establishments that Llandovery has to offer.

The town's college has a golf club, Llandovery College Golf Club, which has a 9-hole parkland course that is available for use to members of the public, it's an ideal course for those just starting out in the game as no handicap is required to play.

Llandovery offers an excellent local base for visitors wishing to explore the Western end of the Brecon Beacons National Park, in addition, to the North of Llandovery lies Cwm Rhaeadr Forest which is ideal for walking, mountain biking and horse riding.

The Llandovery stretch of the renowned 75-mile long River Towy offers anglers some excellent fishing for salmon, sea trout (sewin) and brown trout. A few miles into the Brecon Beacons National Park is the 280 acre Usk Reservoir, this too offers some excellent fishing with good stocks of brown and rainbow trout.
