Meifod Tourist Information
Meifod is a small village set amidst idyllic countryside, located about eight and a half miles away from the town of Welshpool.

Facilities in the village include a village store/post office and a pub which serves food.

The countryside that surrounds Meifod village is ideally suited scenic walks, whether it's along the meandering River Vyrnwy or through nearby Broniarth Hill, for something a little more challenging continue through Broniarth Hill along the Glyndwr Way National Trail to Welshpool.

The River Vyrnwy offers some excellent fishing for salmon, chub and wild river trout.
