Meliden Tourist Information
Meliden is a small village located about one and a half miles inland from the popular seaside resort of Prestatyn, and about the same distance North of the village of Dyserth with its stunning waterfall.

The village has a few shops, pubs and places to get something to eat, whilst neighbouring Prestatyn provides a wide selection of shops including high street named retailers.

Meliden is dominated by 'Graig Fawr', a limestone hill that was formerly used for mining. Now owned by the National Trust, the hill is made up of wooded slopes and limestone outcrops which is now a haven for wildlife. From the summit of Graig Fawr there are magnificent views of Rhyl, Prestatyn and Ffrith Beach.

Meliden is home to St Melyd Golf Club, a beautifully presented 9-hole parkland course with tree lined fairways and excellent greens.

Meliden along with neighbouring Prestatyn have together been awarded the 'Walkers are Welcome' status.
