Milford Haven Tourist Information
Home to one of the deepest
natural harbours in the world

Milford Haven is a bustling town that is centred around its 328 berth marina, considered to be one of the top marinas in Wales. The town, which has the third largest port in the UK, is situated on the North side of the busy Milford Haven Waterway that is used by both commercial and leisure vessels.

Around the marina quayside there's a selection of cafes, restaurants and smart retail outlets, whilst up in the town itself there are plenty more shops, eateries, pubs and supermarkets to be found.

The location of Milford Haven makes it an ideal base for visiting the towns and villages dotted along nearby St Brides Bay which is about an eight mile drive away, as well as Carmarthen Bay, that's roughly an eighteen mile drive away.

To the West of the town lies Milford Haven Golf Club, a well-established club offering a very well laid out 18-hole parkland course.

Milford Haven Waterway
The Milford Haven Waterway is roughly 26 miles long and has one of the deepest natural harbours in the world, it is also a busy shipping channel for ferries and oil tankers. Although it is a busy commercial channel, there are still ample businesses that provide boat trips as well as fishing and sailing trips to holidaymakers, the waterway is also well suited for canoeing and kayaking.
