Pembrey Tourist Information
Pembrey is a village that lies comfortably on the Eastern side of Carmarthen Bay, less than two miles North of Burry Port, and just over three miles South of Kidwelly.

For a village, it certainly isn't lacking when it comes to activities, most of which are found in Pembrey Country Park. This well-established visitor attraction boasts 550 acres of idyllic woodlands to explore on foot, on a bike, or horseback using Pembrey Park Riding Centre. For visitors who crave something more exhilarating, there's a 130-metre long dry ski slope and the longest toboggan run in Wales, in addition to which there's outdoor laser tag or you can zip around the park on a Segway.

Separating the waters of Carmarthen Bay from Pembrey Country Park is Pembrey Beach (Cefn Sidan), a fantastic seven and a half mile stretch of fine golden sands which makes its way from Burry Port Harbour all the way to Tywyn Point near Kidwelly. This popular beach offers plenty of room for everybody, although at low tide you may have a bit of a walk on your hands for a paddle as the tide can go out for almost a mile.
