Presteigne Tourist Information
Voted as one of Britain’s top 10 little towns

Presteigne is an attractive town which can be found on the border between Wales and England, located just under seven miles South of Knighton and about twenty-one miles East of Llandrindod Wells.

The town offers a fine selection of unique independent shops which are well worth browsing around, Presteigne also provides a variety of places to get something to eat and there are a few pubs to enjoy a relaxing drink in.

On Broad Street sits the Judge's Lodging, it's a fascinating building in which you're transported back in time to the 1870s. The museum has various rooms for visitors see inside including the courtroom, dining room, servants hall, kitchen, bathroom, clerks room and the cells, all of which are designed to depict the life of Victorian judges and their servants and felonious guests.

Presteigne is set amidst breathtaking countryside and quiet country lanes that are ideal for leisurely walks or bike rides, whilst the River Lugg which meanders its way past the town is popular with anglers.
