Rhosneigr Tourist Information
Rhosneigr is a delightful coastal village located on the West coast of Anglesey, it is positioned roughly midway between the villages of Valley and Malltraeth.

There are various shops in the village along with a good selection of eateries and pubs to choose from.

Located on the edge of the village is Anglesey Golf Club, it boasts the only links course on Anglesey and is set amongst sand dunes and heathland in an important wildlife conservation area.

Rhosneigr is blessed with some fabulous beaches
Traeth Crigyll (Town Beach) is a fantastic long sandy beach that's ideal for a fun family day out, with safe swimming and ideally located close to the village (just in case the kids are flagging and in need of some sustenance). Town Beach is also popular for those who enjoy watersports, especially windsurfing and sailing.

Traeth Llydan Beach (Broad Beach) is a gorgeous stretch of unspoilt, clean sandy beach is perfect for swimming, walking and a host of watersports, it comes complete with rock pools at either end for the kids explore.

Traeth Cymyran Beach is a wide sandy beach which offers excellent fishing, safe bathing and ideal for various watersports. The only downside is its location, as it is adjacent to RAF Valley, so noise from various aircraft is to be expected.

Between the village and the railway line lies 'Llyn Maelog', a small lake which has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The lake has depths of between 3ft and 10ft and provides a good location for anglers looking to fish for bream, roach, rudd, perch and pike. The area around the lake is rather beautiful, nature lovers will find it provides an ideal setting for a leisurely stroll whilst keeping an eye out for the wildlife and large varieties of birdlife.
