Trawsfynydd Lake
Trawsfynydd Lake lies next to the village, it's a rather impressive large man-made reservoir which provides a great location for a number of pursuits. Cyclists can enjoy a leisurely eight-mile bike ride around the lake, there are many fantastic walks in the area including a 4-5 hour amble around the lake, Trawsfynydd Lake also has a good reputation for fishing with good stocks of rainbow and brown trout. Canoeist and kayakers are able to bring and use their own canoes and kayaks on the lake, or they may be hired from the centre on a half day or full day basis.
