Tresaith Tourist Information

Tresaith is a small coastal village positioned at the Southern end of Cardigan Bay, midway between the coastal villages of Aberporth and Penbryn.

Facilities in this lovely coastal village include a shop, cafe and a pub which serves food.

The real draw for this village is its beach - Tresaith Beach. It's a wonderful stretch of sandiness where the adults and just sit and relax whilst the kids run around, build sandcastles and explore the rock pools. The waters that lap onto Tresaith Beach offer safe swimming and are ideal for water based activities like snorkelling, sea kayaking, surfing and canoeing. As the River Saith makes its way around the village it finally empties out onto the beach below in a rather dramatic fashion, by cascading down the cliff as a waterfall, not only making it a beautiful addition to this beach but it's ideal for taking a refreshing freshwater shower.

The sixty mile long Ceredigion Coastal Path passes Tresaith, this provides the perfect opportunity to give those calf muscles a workout whilst enjoying the panoramic views of Cardigan Bay. From the village, walkers can enjoy a leisurely forty minute cliff top stroll to Penbryn or in the other direction, a twenty-minute amble will bring you to Aberporth. If you really fancy putting your calf muscles to work you can walk along the coast path from the village to Llangrannog and back again (covering a total distance of approximately ten miles).
