Ysbyty Ystwyth Tourist Information
Ysbyty Ystwyth is a small inland village located in the picturesque Ystwyth Valley, about nine miles from the market town of Tregaron and just over twelve miles from the popular seaside resort of Aberystwyth.

This quiet village is nestled in the Ystwyth Valley, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful valleys in Wales, particularly in autumn. The surrounding countryside provides walkers with plenty of waymarked walking trails, it also offers cyclists a varied terrain of on and off-road bike trails. Both walkers and cyclists can also hop on the twenty-mile easy to moderate grade 'Ystwyth Trail' as it makes its way from Aberystwyth and ends at Tregaron.

The River Ystwyth meanders its way past the village and through the valley as it empties out into Cardigan Bay, along its length the river offering some good fishing for salmon and trout.
